Jeff has extensive experience in not only residential real estate, but also with commercial and investment property, ranches, historic property, and business opportunities, and as a litigation consultant.

As a buyer broker, he has served clients as far south as San Diego and north into Monterey County. He owned and managed his own real estate firm for 8 years and managed a family herb and garden business in Cambria for over 15 years with his wife, nature and garden author Sharon Lovejoy. Because of his business connections, he has handled numerous commercial property and business opportunity sales in Cambria.

In 1980, Jeff Prostovich began his real estate career on the Central Coastal of California. He is currently an associate broker with Coldwell Banker Premier Real Estate in San Luis Obispo with 10 branches serving the Central Coast and Central Valley. Coldwell Banker Premier Real Estate is a member of the Central Coast Regional Multiple Listing Service (MLS), which covers the entire San Luis Obispo County and Santa Maria in Santa Barbara County.

Jeff is also a licensed associate broker in Maine with Coldwell Banker SoundVest Properties. Maine has a statewide multiple listing services, so if a property is in Maine, he can find it. He and his wife own a second home in South Bristol and investment property in Damariscotta.

Prior to real estate, Jeff was a postmaster, worked in law enforcement, and served in the Army Security Agency in the electronic intelligence field as a German linguist and translator. His military duty assignments were with the Field Station Berlin, Germany, and at the Foreign Science and Technology Center in Charlottesville, Virginia, with studies at the Defense Language Institute West Coast in Monterey, California, and San Angelo, Texas. He holds a degree in Administration of Justice. He has taught business classes for Adult Education at Cuesta College and for various professional associations.

While he embraces technology to make his work easier, he still relies on personal service and attention to detail as the backbone of his practice. Honesty and integrity have been his foundation throughout life.
